The
International Tourism Bourse (ITB) better known as ITB is the world’s largest
tourism convention which is held yearly since 1966. ITB is the combination of
trade exhibition, public exhibition and the biggest professional convention
worldwide attracts tens of thousands of visitors, exhibitors and media
representatives every year and was held in Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC Berlin or Messe Berlin). This year the ITB was held from 10
– 14 March 2009.

The Embassy of Malaysia together with AFS Germany
hosted a reception on 18 October 2008. The reception was attended by
International Board Member of AFS, representatives of AFS Germany as well as
for former German AFS returnees that went to Malaysia. Also present were current
Malaysian students that are in Germany
and their host families. Representatives of AntaraBudaya (AFS Malaysia) were
also present at the event.
