A four-member delegation from the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) in Cyberjaya, visited the Consulate office on 15 February2007.

The delegation, led by Puan Roslaini Mohd Nazar, Acting General Manager, held a two-hour briefing to officials of the Consulate about the 'E-xpats System'. This system is meant to facilitate the issuance of visas for foreign IT specialists and executives who will be attached to firms given 'MSC' status by MDeC.

Puan Roslaini was accompanied by En Siva Kumaren, Manager, Puan Nurazyan Ismail, Senior Executive and Cik Azlina Shahrom, Expatriate Services Officer. Present at the briefing was En Hussain Bakar, Consul General, En Zamri Anuar, Consul and En Anwar Mahmud, Vice Consul.
