On 15 December 2009, a prize giving lunch was organised by YBhg. Datin Nor Nazrin, President of PERWAKILAN Dublin at Langkawi Restaurant, Baggot Street, Dublin to present the airline tickets to Mr. Marcin Domaszczynski from Poland, the winner of the lucky draw of the International Charity Bazaar 2009.

Eidul - Adha Open House hosted by Ambassador Raja Dato’ Nazrin Aznam and Datin Nor Nazrin as well as all staff from the Embassy of Malaysia was held on Friday, 27 November 2009 at Malaysia Hall, Leeson Park, Dublin 6.  An estimated of 400 guests attended the said event.

INTERNATIONAL CHARITY BAZAAR 2009

The 4th Annual International Charity Bazaar was held at D4 Hotel, Dublin  on 15 November 2009. The aim of the Bazaar is to raise funds for charity support for Relief For Irish, Palestinian and Pakistani Women and Children Health Program for survivors of torture in Ireland.  The Opening Ceremony of the Bazaar took place at about 11.30 am by Minister for Social and Family Affairs, Ireland Madam Mary Hanafin. Ladies Association of the Embassy of Malaysia (PERWAKILAN Dublin) led by the President, Datin Nor Nazrin, took part in the charity event.

WORKING VISIT OF YBHG. TAN SRI ISMAIL ADAM, DIRECTOR GENERAL OF PUBLIC SERVICE MALAYSIA

YBhg. Tan Sri Ismail Adam and delegation were in Dublin for a working visit from 24 until 27 October 2009. The visit was aimed at, among others, to monitor the welfare and appraise any problems faced by JPA- sponsored students in Ireland.

THE PASSING OF HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE SULTAN OF JOHOR AND TUN GHAZALI SHAFIE, FORMER MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS
The Embassy of Malaysia, with deep sorrow, wishes to inform all Malaysians in Ireland regarding the passing of HRH Almutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail on 22 January 2010. The Embassy also has the sad duty to inform the passing of Tun Ghazali Shafie, former Minister for Foreign Affairs on 24 January 2010. Separate Books of Condolence for HRH Sultan Iskandar and Tun Ghazali Shafie will be opened concurrently at the Embassy of Malaysia, Level 3A-5A, Shelbourne House, Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 for Malaysians in Ireland on Thursday, 28 January 2010 from 10.00am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-5.00pm.

CHANGES TO IRELAND’S WORK PERMIT ARRANGEMENTS FROM 1 JUNE 2009
