Malaysian Visa on Arrival (VOA) for Pakistani Nationals has been suspended and no longer available effective from 1st August 2008. All Pakistani Nationals planning to travel to Malaysia from that date will have to apply for Visa from Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi or from the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad.
Pakistan To Adopt Daylight Savings Time (DST) From 1st June 2008 - 31st October 2008
Begining from 1st June 2008 till 31st October 2008, the Pakistani Government has decided to advance clocks in the country by an hour to GMT plus six (6), in an attempt to reduce electricity consumption during the peak summer demand season.

Registration of Malaysians Residing in the Province of Balochistan, Sindh and Karachi
All Malaysians residing in the Province of Balochistan, Sindh and Karachi are advised to register with the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi. The failure to do so may cause difficulties for the Consulate General to provide assistance or protection in the event of emergencies or may lead to the loss of citizenship under Article 25 (2) of the Constitution of Malaysia. The registration form is available at the Consulate or may be downloaded here. The completed form should be
e-mailed, faxed or mailed to the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi. Your cooperation is appreciated.
