Farewell Dinner "Jasamu Dikenang" and Juara Karaoke Competition 2010
In the breeze weather, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi with the cooperation of Malaysia Karachi Club (MKC) successfully organised a Farewell Dinner "Jasamu Dikenang" to bid farewell Mr. Isa Mansor, Regional Manager of Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), Pakistan and Mrs. Noor Aswana Mustafa, Manager of IJM Construction Pakistan Pvt. Ltd on Sunday, 7th February 2010. The event held at the compound of the Chancery was attended by 70 Malaysians residing in Karachi and enjoyed a buffet of Pakistani cuisines together with Malaysian delicacies brought by fellows Malaysians.

KARACHI: Malaysia had a field day in the Inaugural ASEAN Karachi Bowling Tournament winning all three titles of the tournament held on Sunday, 6 December 2009 at a well reputed Bowling Alley in Karachi. The first ever bowling tournament initiated and organised by the Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, H.E. Specialised Marketing Mission to Pakistan organised by MATRADE in Karachi
With the objectives to explore business opportunities in targeted markets and to promote exports of Malaysian products and services as well as to ensure the full use of Malaysia-Pakistan Closer Economic Partnership Agreement (MPCEPA), the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), organised a 'Specialised Marketing Mission to Pakistan' (Karachi, Islamabad & Lahore) from 23rd May to 3rd June 2009. The mission was initiated with the close collaboration of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi and the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. 8 members delegation from 6 Malaysian companies participated in the mission.
       
 On 25th May 2009, the mission kicked off with the Networking Reception hosted by Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak in his welcoming remark expressed his thanks and gratitude to KCCI Business Members headed by its President, Mr. Anjum Nisar for their assistance and coorperation in strengthening the business networking between the two brotherly countries since the independence of Malaysia in 1957. Among others, he also thanked Mr. Md. Zainuddin A. Jalil, Malaysian Trade Commissioner for South Asia based in Chennai, India, Mr. Syed Sahibul Bahri Syed Abdul Hamid, Assistant Manager, MATRADE and Malaysian business delegation for participating in the mission to expand trade and economic coorperation between Malaysia and Pakistan.
   
The Specialised Marketing Mission of Malaysia business delegation continued on 26th May 2009 with one-to-one business meeting organised at the local hotel in Karachi.
