The Consulate General of Malaysia celebrated the 51st National Day of Malaysia by hosting a reception with the theme "Unity, the Core of Success" at the one of the leading hotels in Karachi on Sunday, 31st August 2008.

Iftar Reception at the Consulate General

On the 1st day of Ramzan in Pakistan (Tuesday, 2nd September 2008), the Malaysia Karachi Club (MKC) with the cooperation of the Consulate General of Malaysia Karachi hosted an iftar reception at the Consulate building.

Malaysian Merdeka Games, 2008

On Saturday evening, eve of Merdeka Day, 30th August 2008, the Malaysia Karachi Club (MKC) with the cooperation of the Consulate General of Malaysia Karachi organised a Malaysian Merdeka Games, which was held at a field in Chinatown, Karachi.

ASEAN Karachi Get-Together Dinner

The Association of Southeast Asian Nation or ASEAN was established on 8th August 1967 in Bangkok by the five original Member Countries, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Brunei Darussalam joined on 8th January 1984, Vietnam on 28th July 1995, Lao PDR and Myanmar on 23rd July 1997, and Cambodia on 30th April 1999.

Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2008

Meeting of the Consul General of Malaysia with the representatives of Malaysian Government Agencies and Business Companies in Karachi

Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi chaired a meeting attended by the representatives of Malaysian government agencies, business companies and head of companies lead by Malaysians in Karachi on Friday, 25th July 2008. The meeting was held at the Meeting Room of the Consulate General of Malaysia Karachi.

On Sunday, 29th June 2008, the Consul General of Malaysia and Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal, City Nazim (Mayor) of Karachi witness the Agreement Signing Ceremony between Lightweight Construction Methodology (LCM) Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia and Al-Manzil Builders & Developers, Pakistan at a local hotel in Karachi.

The Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi called on His Excellency Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh at Chief Minister's House, Karachi on Tuesday, 24th June 2008. During the call, Dr. Manzour Rizvi, Director-General of Protocol, Sindh Province and the Consulate General officials were also present.

The Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak called on His Excellency Mohammad Raza Haroon, the Minister of Information Technology of the Sindh Province on 19th June 2008, at the latter's office.

The Consul General made a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad, Governor of Sindh at 1600 hours on 16th June 2008. The courtesy call on the Governor was made following the appointment of Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak as the new Consul General of Malaysia to Karachi recently.

KARACHI, 7 June 2008 - Around 80 Malaysians residing in Karachi gathered at the Malaysian Consulate here to celebrate the birthday of SPB Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. The auspicious occasion began at 9.30 am with the recital of doa, followed by the raising of Jalur Gemilang along with singing of the national anthem, 'Negaraku' and 'Keranamu Malaysia'  led by a choir made up of the Consulate children's and speech by the Consul General, Mr. Mohd. On Saturday, 19th April 2008, The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, Datuk Seri Utama Dr. Rais Yatim and delegation transited in Karachi on their way back to Malaysia after undertaking a working visit to Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 18-19 April 2008.

15th April 2008 marked the 4th Anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi. On this auspicious occasion, the Consul General, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak led a Flag Raising Ceremony which was participated by all the HBS and LRS. The ceremony was held at 9.30 am at the compound of the Consulate.

On Friday, 4th April 2008, the Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak chaired a meeting with the Malaysian Government agencies and business companies based in Karachi, Pakistan. The meeting was held at the Meeting Room of the Consulate.

The new Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak presented this morning, Wednesday, 5th March 2008, his letter of credential to Mr. Ahmad Hussain Dayo, the Deputy Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Camp Office, Karachi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak arrived in Karachi on 1^st March 2008 to assume the post as the 2^nd Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi.
