Dato’ Adnan Haji Othman, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia on Thursday, 20 December 2007 officiated Al-Ameen Korban Eidul Adha & Aqiqah Kemboja 1428H in Kampong 13 at Koh Sothin in Kampong Cham Province 125 kilometers from Phnom Penh city.

Dato’ Adnan was accompanied by H.E. Othsman Hassan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, Mufti of Cambodia Yusof Kamaruddin and Haji Sabri, Deputy Governor of Kampong Cham.

Dato’ Adnan and some forty participants of the Al-Ameen program traveled on five boats to the village.  Kampong 13 which is located on the island of Koh Sothin is forty minutes by boat from kampong Cham city.

Dato’ Adnan performed the Eidul Adha prayers with the villagers and later officiated the korban.  A total of ten cows were slaughtered and distributed to the villagers.
