Dato' Adnan Haji Othman, Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia hosted an Open House for Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Members of the Royal Government of Cambodia at Rumah Malaysia on 7 November 2006 from 4-8 p.m. to commemorate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

Amongst the guests include HRH Sisowath Chivan Monireak, 1st Vice President of the Senate, H.E. Othman Hassan, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, H.E. Sith Ibrahim, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Cults and Religions.  Newly elected President of FUNCINPEC, H.E. Keo Puth Rasmey was also present at the Open House.

The evening was capped by the presence of HRH Crown Princess Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah of Pahang who is in Phnom Penh from 5-11 November 2006 to attend the Asia Pacific Strategic Leadership Training organised by the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts of Cambodia.

Guests were treated to an array of traditional Malay food like ketupat, lemang, rendang, serunding, satay ayam, kuah kacang, lodeh, roti canai and teh tarik as well as Malay cookies like batang buruk, kuih makmur, kuih goyang and biskut gunting.
