H.E. Assoc. Prof. Syed Omar Al-Saggaf paid a courtesy call on HRH Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz on 25 April 2009 to congratulate HRH Prince Naif on the appointment as the Second Deputy Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia in March 2009.
The courtesy call was held in HRH Prince Naif's palace in Riyadh and was joined by several Ambassadors.

Ambassador Syed Omar Al-Saggaf, right,in Riyadh on Wednesday.
Riyadh - 3 March 2009: The Malaysian Government has conferred a prestigious award,
the Darjah Kebesaran Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM), on former Minister
of Culture and Information Iyad A. Madani in recognition of his efforts
to ensure solidarity of Muslim Ummah and for his outstanding
contributions in promoting Saudi-Malaysian ties. The award is literally
translated as “Knight of the Most Distinguished Order of Crown,” and
carries the coveted title of “Tan Sri”.

and elegant ceremony at the Nasiriah Palace, Riyadh
on 11 January 2009. The Presentation of Credentials Ceremony was also attended
by 27 Ambassadors from other countries.
