I titled my report as Unique Malaysia because my experience was so; because I enjoyed every meal I ate and every conversation I had with local people.  Beyond the expertise, I feel that the major lesson of Malaysian culture was about diversity and tolerance, about patient and calm down attitude. In my point of view, those are essential values for a global world harmony living (Alejandra Ruiz, Journalist & Filmmaker).

A One Life Time Experience

I think that every time you get together with people from different cultures you learn a lot, but I never thought it would be at the level we did in Malaysia. It was really a life time experience. We not only visited a very far away country with different architecture, different food and beautiful landscapes but also we meet and made friendship with people not only physically different but also who see the world and go through life in a very different way.

Visit from Rapa Nui (Easter Island)

Rapa Nui (Easter Island) is one of the world's most isolated inhabited islands and world famous for the giant stone monoliths the Moai statues which dot the coastlines of Rapa Nui. Six high school students, aged 16 to 18 years from the Liceo Aldea Educativa Rapa Nui (School of Education Village Rapa Nui ) visited the Embassy on 22 August 2008.

The Embassy of Malaysia in Santiago participated in the 1st. International Educational Fair organised by the Engineering Faculty, Universidad de Chile, Santiago from 8 - 9 August 2008. HE Ambassador Abdullah Faiz Zain also gave a powerpoint presentation on "Why Study in Malaysia".
