PROFILE

Malaysia opened its first Consulate office in Shanghai in December 1999 and was located at Equatorial Hotel, Yan’an Xi Lu. In July 2001, the Consulate office moved to  its present office at CITIC Square, No.1168 Nanjing Xi Lu.

The first Consul General to Shanghai was Mr. Rosli Ismail who served from December 1999 to 24 January 2004. The Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai covers the Yangtze Delta – the largest economic region in China, consisting of Shanghai, the largest city in China, and the provinces of Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The Yangtze Delta is one of the most populous places in the world, and Shanghai is paving the way to help this region’s economic prosperity. We are here to help Malaysians be a part of the most exciting periods of history.

简介

马来西亚于1999年12月在上海开设了第一家驻沪总领事馆。当时的领事馆办公室位于延安西路的贵都大酒店内。2001年7月领事馆将其办公室移至位于南京西路1168号的中信泰富广场内。

马来西亚驻沪总领事馆的第一位驻沪总领事是Mr. Rosli Ismail，他在上海的任期从1999年12月开始至2004年1月24日结束。本领事馆主要负责处理长江三角洲地区的各项事务。长江三角洲地区是中国最大的区域经济体，其中包括了安徽，江苏及浙江等各省，以及中国最大的城市：上海。长江三角洲是世界上人口最为稠密的地区，上海近年的飞速发展已为该地区将来的繁荣昌盛铺平了道路。在这历史性的发展时期，本领事馆全体工作人员在此将竭诚为各位马来西亚公民提供服务。
