CELEBRATION OF HIS MAJESTY SPB YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG’S BIRTHDAY, 2008


The celebration of His Majesty SPB Yang di-Pertuan Agong's birthday for 2008 was held on 31 May 2008, a week before the actual date at “Rumah Malaysia”, an official residence of the High Commissioner from 8.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. to accommodate the Malaysian delegation who participated in the Malaysian Higher Education and Seminar on Education in Malaysia (MOHEX Fiji 2008) on 30 and 31 May 2008.

A significant visit to enhance functional cooperation in the field of education between Malaysia and Fiji was the Malaysian Higher Education Exhibition and Seminar on Education in Malaysia (MOHEX Fiji 2008) from 30 to 31 May 2008. This is the first Malaysian education promotion in the Pacific Island states and Fiji selected to be the venue. MOHEX Fiji 2008 was organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, with the close cooperation of the Ministry of Indigenous Affairs of the Republic of the Fiji Islands.
