In conjunction with the Agong’s Birthday, a reception was held by MFTC at Westin Hotel, Taipei on 5^th June 2008.  About 200 came for the reception comprised all of MFTC Directors and family members, MAROC members, Malaysian Students in Taipei, Friends of Malaysia in Taipei and not forgetting our LRS officers and staff of MFTC.

Some of the Malaysian Cuisines were offered at the reception besides dishes and cakes from the hotel’s beverage management. 

In the speech, President of MFTC reminded Malaysians to be proud of her country, do their best in whatever field they are involved be it as Malaysians officers serving abroad, Malaysian businessmen doing business in Taiwan and Malaysian Students pursue their studies in the related fields.
