The reception to celebrate the Birthday of His Majesty The Yang di-Pertuan Agong was held on Saturday, 2 June 2007. About 170 Malaysians in WashingtonDC attended the event. H.E. Datuk Dr. Rajmah Hussain reminded the guests to strengthen their spirit of loyalty and love for the king and country. She also urged them to play their role as “Cultural Ambassador” and to promote “Visit Malaysia Year 2007” to our host country. The Perwakilan ladies choir entertained the guests with patriotic songs followed by the cake cutting ceremony and reception.
