Nur Ashikin Binti Mohd Taib is the High Commissioner of Malaysia to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

 

She joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia in 1994 and in 1996 was appointed as the Second Secretary, Embassy of Malaysia to France and Counsellor, Embassy of Malaysia to Belgium in 2006 until 2010. Throughout her career, she held  the posts as Deputy Director General,  Undersecretary and Principal Assistant Secretary at various departments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

She graduated from Indiana University, USA in 1991 with a B.A. (French & Political Science) and later obtained a Diploma in Public Administration (INTAN) in 1995 and Postgraduate Studies University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus from September 2012 to January 2014.

 

 

Nur Ashikin is married to Mr. Abdul Rahim bin Alias.
