THE 2017 CHINA (GUANGDONG) – MALAYSIA BILATERAL BUSINESS COUNCIL MEETING, GUANGZHOU ON 15 SEPTEMBER 2017

On 15 September 2017, the China Council for Promotion and International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong Office and the Malaysia-Guangdong Chamber for Investment Promotion (MGCIP) successfully held the China (Guangdong)-Malaysia Bilateral Business Council Meeting at the Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou on 15 September 2017.  The event was jointly officiated by Mr. Lin Tao, Director General of CCPIT Guangdong and YBhg. Tan Sri Lim Hock San, President of MGCIP. Present at the event was Mr. Muzambli Markam, Consul General of Malaysia.

  

2.         The main objective of the event was to promote closer trade and investment cooperation between Malaysia and Guangdong, with the primary driver being from the private sectors of both sides. The meeting also provided a platform for Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and private companies to explore possible economic collaborations with Malaysian companies both in Malaysia and China.
