SHORTLISTED APPLICATION AS MALAYSIA'S CANDIDATE AS

COMMISSIONER TO THE INDEPENDENT PERMANENT HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION (IPHRC) OF THE ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COOPERATION (OIC) (2019-2022)

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia is pleased to announce that the following are the list of persons applying to be nominated as Malaysia’s Candidate as Commissioner to the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for the term 2019-2022.

 

  1. YBhg. Prof. Dr. Faridah Jalil;
  2. YBhg. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Azam Mohamed Adil;
  3. YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Monir Yaacob;
  4. YBrs. Dr. Hakimah Yaacob;
  5. Mr. Ahmad Azam Ab Rahman; and
  6. Ms. Mazrina Mohd Mokhtar.

 

The Ministry invites and welcomes comments and views from the Malaysian public on the suitability of the applicants to fill up the position. The comments and views are to be channeled directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at myiphrc@kln.gov.my from today until 10 January 2019.

 

The current efforts by the Ministry in the recruitment process for Malaysia’s Candidate as Commissioner to the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for the term 2019-2022, is in line with the Government’s manifesto for a clear, transparent, merit-based, and participatory selection and appointment process.
