WORKING VISIT BY

THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND,

DON PRAMUDWINAI TO MALAYSIA 13 FEBRUARY 2019

 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Don Pramudwinai will undertake a Working Visit to Malaysia on 13 February 2019. This is Don Pramudwinai’s first visit to Malaysia under the current administration and to reciprocate the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah to Bangkok on 19 January 2019.

 

While in Malaysia, Don Pramudwinai is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Malaysia at the latter’s office to discuss and exchange views on regional and global issues of common concern.

 

Don Pramudwinai will then have a bilateral meeting with Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah, followed by a High Tea hosted by the latter at Wisma Putra. Both Ministers are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly on the infrastructure projects at the Malaysia-Thai border, Southern Thailand peace dialogue process as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

 

The visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand to Malaysia is expected to further strengthen the bond of friendship between Malaysia and Thailand, as well as underscore the keen desire of both governments to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
