WORKING VISIT OF DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF MALAYSIA

DATO’ MARZUKI YAHYATO JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA FOR THE OPEN-ENDED EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE OIC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, 17 JULY 2019

 

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato’ Marzuki Yahya, will be leading Malaysia’s delegation to the Open-Ended Extraordinary Meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers which will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 17 July 2019.

 

The meeting will discuss the Israeli violations in the occupied city of Al-Quds Al-Sharif. Dato’ Marzuki Yahya will be delivering Malaysia’s statement at the meeting. The OIC Executive Committee is expected to issue a statement at the end of the meeting.

 

Malaysia’s participation at the meeting is a testament of its unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, and reaffirms the role of the OIC in efforts to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967.
