CURRENT STATUS OF MOUNT AGUNG IN BALI

 

 

The Indonesian authorities lowered Mount Agung’s alert status from the highest Level IV (Danger) to Level III (Standby) on 10 February 2018. The exclusion zone was also reduced from 6 KM to 4 KM around its crater. However, as the alert level for Mount Agung could change at short notice, the Indonesian authorities have cautioned the people in the vicinity for possible evacuation should the alert level is elevated.

 

Malaysians are advised to take all necessary precautions for their personal safety, monitor the local news closely and to follow the instructions from the local authorities.
