H.E. Ambassador Dato' Sri Hasan Malek
H.E Dato' Sri Hasan Malek is the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia. He presented his Letter of Credence on 30 May 2016.
Prior to gis appointment, he held the post of Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism from 2013 to 2015. He was also the former Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development from 2009 to 2013.
H.E. Dato'Sri Hasan Malek holds a B.A. (Hons) in Sociology from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and a Diploma in Development Administration from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
He is married to Datin Sri Norainee Mohd Yatib and has three children.

The first Malaysian Ambassador to Cambodia was H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Deva Mohd Ridzam.
Subsequent Heads of Mission were H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Md. Kamal Ismaun, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Ahmad Anuar Abdul Hamid, H.E. Ambassador Datin Paduka Melanie Leong and H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Adnan Haji Othman.
