HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA

REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA TO MALAYSIA

 

The High Commission of Malaysia wishes to inform the public that citizens of Nigeria need to apply for visa to enter Malaysia. The Single Entry Visa (SEV) is only permitted for fourteen (14) days only.

 

APPLICATION FOR SOCIAL VISA:

 

All application for Social Visa must be made in person and attached with the following documents:

1.         Filled visa application form;

2.         Two (2) white/blue background UK-sized passport photographs;

3.         Original and coloured copy of International Passport data page;

4.         Original and coloured copy of approved Yellow Fever Certificate;

5.         Original signed invitation letter from Malaysia and/or original signed introduction letter from the applicant;

6.         Confirmed return air ticket with booking reference number;

7.         Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay (e.g. hotel reservation);

8.         Original and copy of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Certificate (for all first time traveller to countries outside West Africa);

9.         Original and copy of Stamped latest bank statement (last 3 months); with Bank reference letter.

10.   For dependant:

a.     Coloured copy of dependant International Passport data page and valid visa page;

b.    Original and copy of certificate of birth/ marriage.

 

APPLICATION FOR STUDENT VISA:

All application for Student Visa must be made in person and attached with the following documents:

 

1.         Filled visa application form;

2.         Two (2) white/blue background UK-sized passport photographs;

3.         Original and coloured copy of International Passport data page;

4.         Original and coloured copy of approved Yellow Fever Certificate;

5.         Original and copy of Admission Letter from institute of higher learning in Malaysia;

6.         Original and copy of Immigration Approval Letter;

7.         Original and clear copy of the highest obtained educational qualification certificate.

8.         Eligibility Letter from the Ministry of Education of Nigeria.

9.         Signed confirmation letter from the Sponsor.

10.   Copy of International Passport Data Page of the Sponsor.

11.   Original and copy of Stamped latest bank statement (last 3 months); with Bank reference letter of the sponsor.

12.   Bank reference letter for the sponsor

13.   For dependant:

a.     Coloured copy of dependant International Passport data page and valid visa page;

b.    Original and copy of certificate of birth/ marriage.

14.  All students going for CERTIFICATE OR DIPLOMA programmes are mandatory to have NDLEA  CERTIFICATE.

 

APPLICATION FOR BUSINESS VISA:

All application for Business Visa must be made in person and attached with the following documents:

1.    Filled visa application form;

2.         Two (2) white/blue background UK-sized passport photographs;

3.         Original and coloured copy of International Passport data page;

4.         Original and coloured copy of approved Yellow Fever Certificate;

5.    Original signed invitation letter from organization in Malaysia;

6.    Original signed introduction letter from the company;

7.    Confirmed return air ticket with booking reference number;

8.         Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay (e.g. hotel reservation);

9.         Original and copy of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Certificate (for all first time traveller to countries outside West Africa);

10.   Original and copy of Stamped latest company bank statement (last 3 months); with Bank reference letter.

11.   Original and copy of valid Income Tax Clearance;

12.   Original and copy of the Company Certificate of Incorporation;

13.   Copy of the certificate of registration/incorporation of the inviting organization in Malaysia;

14.   All footballers are mandated to present NDLEA clearance certificate.

15.   For dependant:

a.     Coloured copy of dependant International Passport data page and valid visa page;

b.    Original and copy of certificate of birth/ marriage.

VISA FEE:

Fee for all visa type is N1, 000 only.

VISA PROCESSING DURATION:

It takes at least six (6) working days to process a visa.

The High Commission of Malaysia wishes to inform the public that all first time travellers must strictly adhere to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (N.D.L.E.A) Certificate.

 

Also every traveller from, or in transit directly to Malaysia, is required to have a valid new International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophylaxis (Yellow Fever Vaccination Card) with advanced security features, produced by National Primary Health Care Development Agency. The card must proof that yellow fever vaccination has been administered at a World Health Organisation (WHO) approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre at least ten (10) days prior entering Malaysia.
