PASSPORT D.C. 2015: AROUND THE WORLD EMBASSY TOUR

 

The Embassy of Malaysia, in collaboration with PERWAKILAN Washington DC, participated in the Passport DC 2015: Around the World Embassy Tour event on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015, that enable almost 6,500 visitors to Embassy from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

2.         The aim of the event, organized by the District of Columbia Cultural Tourism agency is to expose visitors to experience and learn about countries and cultures of the world. The event was a success and had provided an opportunity for visitors to appreciate and acquire a better understanding of Malaysian culture and cuisine. 

 

 

3.         The visitors had an enjoyable time in participating in several traditional and cultural performances as well as trying their hands in Malaysian traditional games, not to mention favorites delicacies including nasi lemak, roti canai, roti jala, keropok lekor and teh tarik. There were several exhibition booths by a number of Malaysian agencies in the U.S.
