Official Establishment of "MALAYSIA - VENEZUELA BUSINESS COUNCIL" (MVBC)

Malaysia - Venezuela Business Council (MVBC) was officially established on 1 July 2008, with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Prof. Dato' Syed Amin Aljeffri, President of the Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Emir Machado, President of Venezuela - Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (CAVENMA), that took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Signing Ceremony was witnessed by YB Datuk Jacob Dungau, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia.

 

To this effect, Prof. Dato' Syed Amin Aljeffri is the President of MVBC whilst Mr. Emir Machado is its Vice-President.

 

As contained in the Charter of the MVBC, the business communities of Malaysia and Venezuela are determined to create an understanding and better relationship between the business people of Malaysia and Venezuela and to generate people to people business among the two countries for the benefit of mutual trade specifically and towards achieving international trade generally. They are also determined to establish conditions under which trading activities and businesses between both countries are made easier and equitable.

 

Towards these ends, they are determined to unite the strength of the business communities of Malaysia and Venezuela, to maintain international trade in peace and harmony, and to employ international machinery for the promotion of trade.
