 ASEAN-PACIFIC ALLIANCE AMBASSADORS WORKING LUNCH

The Ambassadors of ASEAN and Pacific Alliance based in Mexico City met for a working lunch hosted by the Vietnamese Ambassador at her official residence in her capacity as the Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Mexico City (ACMC).  The two groupings discussed on the way forward particularly the Framework Cooperation Agreement between ASEAN and Pacific Alliance scheduled to be signed in New York in September 2016.

 

Present were HE Ambassador of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand; HE Ambassador of Chile, Colombia and Peru and the host government - Mexico was represented by HE Ambassador Socorro Flores Liera, Undersecretary for Latin America and the Caribbean, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and Lic. Vladimir Vazquez Hernandez, Director General ASEAN & External Relations, SRE and Lic. Santiago Mateos Cibrian, Director General Regional American Agencies & Mechanism, SRE.
