The duration of inspection at a Schedule 2 facility shall not be longer than 96 hours and shall not be longer than 24 hours for Schedule 3 and DOC facility. Extensions of the duration may be agreed between the Inspection Team and the ISP. Hence, the inspectors may be on-site for Schedule 3 and DOC facility between 2 to 3 working days in order to complete the inspection and finalize the inspection report.

The International Inspectors are usually divided into two groups. One will focus on the checking of records and documents relevant to the conduct of inspection and the other group will focus on production processes in the declared plants.
