VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR MALAYSIAN
Malaysian passport holder, who wishes to enter/visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for tourism/social purposes, will not be required to apply for visa, prior to entering the country, for a period of 30 days.
Malaysia is among the 33 countries being exempted from the need to apply/pay for visa prior to entry.
For individuals planning to live/work in the UAE, you must obtain a residence/employment visa.
A residence visa will be issued by the respective Immigration Department of the Emirate you will be residing and provided to you by your sponsor. i.e. company or person you are working for.
Note:
The UAE Government has imposed that any person caught working on a visit visa will be fined AED 50,000 and banned from entering the UAE and the employers will face harsh penalties.
