EID FITRI CELEBRATION IN DUBAI 2018

 

The Consulate General of Malaysia in Dubai in cooperation with the Malaysian community residing in Dubai and Northern Emirates successfully organised Eid Fitri celebration at MATRADE Hall on 15 June 2018 and Rumah Terbuka Malaysia on 16 June 2018 at the Rumah Malaysia.

 

The event was attended by more than 600 Malaysians and friends of Malaysia from various backgrounds and nationality. Many praised the spirit of togetherness practised by Malaysia despite differences in belief and culture. The spirit of Malaysia was adorned by the foreigners and praised the Consulate for the initiative to bring Malaysians together in momentuous day like Eid Fitri.

 

Delicious mouth watering delicacies were prepared in the spirit of togetherness and fellow Malaysians brought along their own cooked food during the Eid Fitri prayers on 15 June 2018. The Consulate hopes that the initiative will be continued in years to come.
