MOUs SIGNED DURING GULF FOOD FESTIVAL, FEBRUARY 2015

Call it a gourmet treat or a gastronomical feast; it doesn’t get bigger than this. As the second annual Dubai Food Festival (DFF) 2015 opened on 6 February the citywide culinary celebration went on to be an irresistible spread, offering not just offbeat attractions like the Middle East’s first fatafeat kitchen, beach canteen and food truck convoy but also insightful interfaces with celebrity chefs and other foodie who’s who.

The gala revolved round four main themes - Emirati cuisine; homegrown concepts; multicultural dining and street fare; and international chefs and restaurants. XPRESS samples the unmissable events.

In conjunction the event, Agriculture Office (MOA) Dubai organised business networking dinner and MOU signing ceremony. The event was held at the Latitude Restaurant, Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Two Malaysian companies signed MOU with UAE companies here and struck deals worth USD 1.55 million. These deals show that Malaysian agriculture products are sought after in Dubai, UAE and there are more opportunities to be grabbed.
