PERDANA SYMPOSIUM AT MALAYSIAN TRADE CENTRE CO-HOSTED BY JAKIM
10-11 APRIL 2015
JAKIM and the Education Malaysia office based in Dubai hosted the Perdana Symposium at the Malaysian Trade Centre from 10 – 11 April 2015. The event was inaugurated by YB Major General Dato’ Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in-charge of JAKIM. This is the second Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia attended by YB Minister Jamil Khir in Dubai.
Around 80 chosen Malaysian students from Egypt, Jordan and India were brought in to Dubai to participate in the Perdana Symposium. These students were selected based on their merits in examination and showed great leadership qualities.
Among other activities involved during this event are dhow boat cruise, motivational talks, briefings on current issues and group activities. Malaysian delicacies such as the tarik, nasi lemak, karipap, mee kari and few other gastronomical cuisines were served during this event.
