Mr. Khalid Jassim AlSerkal, Senior Manager Government Relations, International Affairs, Emirates, and Ms. Shadha Al Gergawi, Government Relationship Specialist, International Affairs, Emirates paid a courtesy call on the Consul General, Mr. Riaz Abdul Razak at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Dubai on 28 April 2026.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on Malaysia-UAE connectivity, passenger facilitation, tourism promotion and people-to-people exchanges.
The Consul General expressed appreciation for Emirates’ continued role in supporting travel between Malaysia and the UAE, including through Dubai as an important regional aviation hub.
Both sides also discussed potential areas of cooperation in support of future tourism, business and community-related engagements.
The courtesy call reaffirmed the good working relationship between the Consulate General of Malaysia in Dubai and Emirates, particularly in strengthening connectivity and people-to-people relations between Malaysia and the UAE.
