On 30 September 2025, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Dubai received a delegation from the Institut Keselamatan Awam Malaysia (IPSOM), Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), as part of their benchmarking visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The delegation which also included researchers from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) was undertaking a fact-finding mission in support of the national study on the development of the Public Safety and Security Index (IKKA).
The meeting provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain insights into the UAE’s governance landscape and to gather general perspectives that could serve as useful references for Malaysia’s study.
The meeting further underscored the Consulate’s role in facilitating knowledge exchange and supporting Malaysian agencies in their international outreach efforts.
