BILATERAL RELATIONS MALAYSIA – ARGENTINA

 

Diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Argentina were established in 1967 and Malaysia established its Embassy in Buenos Aires in 1989. The diplomatic relations between two countries continue remains warm and cordial. Malaysia and Argentina have signed the following MoUs/agreements:-

 

1.     ESTCA (Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Corporation Agreement), (July 1st ,1991);

 

2.     Reciprocal Payments and Credit Agreement (December 3rd, 1993)

 

3.     Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments, (September 6th,1994)

 

4.     Bilateral Payments Arrangements (September 6th,1994)

 

5.     Agreement on Partial Abolition of Visa (September 7th,1994)

 

6.     Air Services Agreement (August 23rd,1996);

 

7.     Reciprocal Exemption Taxes on Income from Operation of Ships/Aircraft (October 3rd, 1997)

 

 

 RELACIONES BILATERALES ENTRE MALASIA Y ARGENTINA

 

Malasia y la República Argentina establecieron relaciones diplomáticas en 1967 y en marzo de 1989 se abrió la Embajada de Malasia en Buenos Aires. Las relaciones entre Malasia y Argentina continúan siendo cordiales y cálidas. Malasia y Argentina han celebrado los siguientes acuerdos:- 

  1. COOPERACIÓN EN MATERIA ECONÓMICA, COMERCIAL, CIENTÍFICA Y TÉCNICA (1de julio de 1991);
  2. PAGOS Y CRÉDITOS RECÍPROCOS (3 de diciembre de 1993);
  3. PROMOCIÓN Y PROTECCIÓN MUTUA DE INVERSIONES (6 de septiembre de 1994);
  4.  PAGOS BILATERALES (6 de septiembre de 1994);
  5. ABOLICIÓN PARCIAL DEL REQUERIMIENTO DE VISA  (7 de septiembre de 1994);
  6. SERVICIOS AÉREOS (23 de agosto de 1996);
  7. EXCEPCIÓN RECÍPROCA DE IMPUESTOS A LAS GANANCIAS PROVENIENTES DE LA OPERACIÓN DE BARCOS Y AERONAVES EN EL TRÁFICO INTERNACIONAL  (3 de octubre de 1997)
