ACC ENGAGEMENT WITH MS KAREN SANDERCOCK, FIRST ASSISTANT SECRETARY INTERNATIONAL DIVISION, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, 12 APRIL 2021
The session was initiated by the ACC to nurture closer engagement with officials from the Australian Government Department that deals with international relations and ASEAN affairs.
The session with Ms Karen Sandercock, First Assistant Secretary, International Division, Department of Education, was an opportunity to exchange views and discuss the importance of ASEAN-Australia relations focussing on the role of education and students. The meeting sought ways to strengthen cooperation and practical ways to ensure the safe return of ASEAN students to Australia.
The ACC Heads of Mission look forward to having further engagements with other senior officials from the Australian Government.
