AN EVENING WITH MASCA ACT, 3 MAY 2019
In collaboration with the Malaysian Students’ Council of Australia (MASCA) ACT, the High Commission welcomed 60 Malaysian university students in Canberra for an engagement session at the Dewan Merdeka on 3 May 2019. Mr. Scott Loh, MASCA National’s Chairperson from Melbourne was also present to support the event.
The session was conducted in ‘town hall’ format, led by Mr. Firdaus Rizal as the moderator and with High Commissioner Dato’ Sudha and Miss Zayana, President of MASCA ACT as guest speakers. The interactive session allowed students to learn more about diplomacy and the role of the High Commission in Australia, current developments in Malaysia, career advice, and matters related to student’s welfare.
To the students, don’t be shy and do know that the High Commission is always available to engage and assist you. We look forward for other activities with the students in the future.
