CHINESE NEW YEAR GATHERING, 13 FEBRUARY 2019
Officials from the High Commission of Malaysia joined the Malaysian diaspora in Canberra for a Chinese New Year Gathering at Spices of Melacca, one of the popular Malaysian restaurants in Canberra. More than 35 Malaysians attended the gathering.
The gathering provided the opportunity for the High Commission to engage with the Malaysian community in a warm and friendly environment, while enjoying delicious array of Chinese New Year dishes. In keeping with tradition, Yee Sang was tossed to a year of prosperity, good health and happiness.
