ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH MS. JULIE HECKSCHER, FIRST ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF SOUTHEAST ASIA DIVISION, DFAT , 10 APRIL 2019
The session was at the initiative of the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC) to have closer engagement with officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as the main Australian Government Department that deals with international relations and ASEAN affairs.
The session with Ms Julie Heckscher was an opportunity to exchange views and discuss developments in the political domestic landscape as well as the region. The ACC Heads of Mission look forward to having further engagements with other senior officials from DFAT.
