MUHIBBAH HARI RAYA GATHERING @ HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA 29 JUNE 2019
The High Commission was happy to host and celebrate, once again, Muhibbah Hari Raya with the Malaysian community in Canberra on 29 June 2019.
A much-anticipated event of the year, at least 200 Malaysians with their families gathered, clad in traditional baju raya, despite the cold winter weather. Fellow Malaysians enjoyed the array of delectable Raya dishes such as rendang ayam, ketupat, nasi lemak, lontong, and a delicious spread of dessert.
The High Commission was happy to meet with our fellow Malaysians in efforts to further strengthen ties. Even when overseas, food and festive seasons truly unite us all.
