WORLD QURAN HOUR, 30 MAY 2019
This year’s World #QuranHour was celebrated on 30 May 2019 with the theme ‘Global Challenges’ Solutions”. The campaign aimed to establish a solidarity platform capable of unifying the global Ummah under the banner of Al-Quran, whilst capturing the spirit of the 10 blessed days in the end of Ramadan.
#QuranHour is a campaign initiated by Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation (WUIF) to encourage every individual to interact with Al-Quran through Reading, Understanding and Applying. It is an effort to instil the soul of compassion until it becomes a way of life.
In support of this campaign, the Muslim members of the High Commission had a #QuranHour session led by Ustaz Iszam Padhil. Participants recited Surah Al-Kahfi and reflected on the meaning and lessons from the Surah.
