Empirical Study by The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform)
The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), YB Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, visited Melbourne from 2 to 4 June 2024 as part of the empirical study on the separation of powers of the attorney general and public prosecutor. YB Minister hosted a dialogue session with the Malaysian students and had a series of engagements with Monash University. The delegation also met with several key individuals in Victoria, including the Director of Public Prosecutions and Solicitor for Public Prosecutions.
