ASEAN Day and ASEAN Business Alliance Official Launch Celebration, 6 August 2021
Consul General of Malaysia attended the ASEAN Day and the launching of ASEAN Business Alliance based in Perth, Western Australia (WA) on 6 August 2021 organised by the ASEAN Business Alliance. The launch was officiated by the Deputy Premier of Western Australia, Mr. Roger Cook MLA followed by Ms. Sarah Hooper, Director of the WA State Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the current Chair of ASEAN Business Alliance in WA, Dr. Sandy Chong.
The ASEAN Business Alliance is representing business councils from the Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN in WA to promote trade, cooperation and cultural exchange between businesses in WA and the ASEAN region.
The Consulate General of Malaysia in Perth congratulates the ASEAN Business Alliance on its establishment and will continue to work together in promoting ASEAN to the stakeholders in Western Australia.
