Ms. Maheran Zahari, Consul for Agriculture paid a courtesy visit to Mr Ahmad Fikri Zakian, Consul General at the Consulate-General of Malaysia in Perth, WA; and had the opportunity to update on ACO Sydney plan of action for 2023. The officials then attended the Australian Government perspectives on Trade and Investment (Australia and Malaysia) business forum, organised by AMBC WA. The key speakers are The Honorable Sam Lim, MP for Tangney and Ms Jessica Shaw from WA state government.

ACO Sydney will continue to facilitate bilateral agrofood trade between Malaysia and Australia and finding opportunities for market access of potential products into the country. The long standing relationship between both countries, fostered by people to people links and cultural roots; are the key factors for a strong trade partnership between Malaysia and Australia.
