Launch of Australia now Malaysia 2021, 14 June 2021
The Consul General had the privilege to join the Honourable Roger Cook MLA, Deputy Premier of Western Australia, His Excellency Andrew Goledzinowski, the High Commissioner of Australia to Malaysia and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Western Australia at the launching of the Australia now Malaysia 2021 event at the Western Australia (WA) State Museum Boola Bardip on 14 June 2021.
The flagship public diplomacy program is to promote Australia’s cultural, social and economic links with Malaysia throughout the year 2021. Among others, Celebrity Chef Adam Liaw, Malaysian Australian author, cook, and television presenter was present to share his enthusiasm and the love of exquisite food that Malaysia and Australia equally share. This event further reflects the significance of the excellent relations enjoyed by our two nations which achieved its 66th anniversary this year.
