Consul General and Mr. Hazwan Hasnol, Consul had the pleasure to interact with the current and newly arrived Malaysian students in Western Australia during an event organized by the Malaysian Students’ Council of Australia, Western Australia Chapter (MASCA-WA) on 16 August 2020 at Malaysia Hall Perth. Malaysian student leaders from various Universities in Western Australia led a total of 70 students who participated in the event.

The event was scheduled to be held in the first half of year 2020 but was delayed due to the unprecedented health crisis. Due to the easing of restrictions in WA since end of June, it has enabled MASCA-WA to plan in advance and materialize the Meet & Greet event with strict adherence to the standard operating procedures in place. It was indeed an excellent platform for the Consulate General to update fellow students on the latest development in Malaysia-Western Australia and roles of the Consulate General in Western Australia.
