Consul General of Malaysia in his capacity as the new Chair of the ASEAN Working Group in Western Australia (WA) hosted the first ASEAN Networking Lunch on 8 July 2020. Few joint programmes throughout the year 2020 and 2021 have been discussed particularly the upcoming 53^rd anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Perth, WA. The networking lunch was attended by the Consul General of Indonesia who is also the Dean of Consular Corps in WA, Consul General of Vietnam, Honorary Consul of Thailand and the newly appointed Honorary Consul of the Philippines.
