SHILA AMZAH PERTH CUP 2017
ND Lala FC which was made up of local celebrities from Malaysia was in Perth from 21 - 24 April 2017 for two football friendly matches against WA Police in Rockingham and Boulder City Soccer Club in Kalgoorlie on 21 and 23 April 2017 respectively. The team performed pretty impressively to record a convincing win 4 - 1 in its first match before going down 1 - 3 to the local champion in Kalgoorlie. Malaysians in Perth came in droves to support the team and showed a truly commendable Malaysia Boleh spirit which won the praises from the organiser.
A dinner in honour of the Malaysian team was held at the residence of the Malaysian Consul-General on 24 April 2017 where it was well attended by not just the players but many other Malaysians who lived in Perth.
