On 10 April 2017, a team from the “Red Circle Projects Sdn Bhd” paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Azerbaijan. The company was led by its Director, Ms Dilys Tan and accompanied by another seven (7) persons.


Ms Dilys Tan informed the Ambassador on the activities of the company. Red Circle Projects Sdn Bhd builds sets, stages and scenic items for events, ceremonies, opera, theatre and musicals. This year is the company’s second project in Baku. For the first project, the company worked on the Opening Ceremony of the Baku 2015 First European Games. They built a “Garden Miniatures” – an exposition of Azerbaijani artistic heritage. This year, the team is working for the Opening Ceremony of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games to be held on 12 May 2017 in Baku.


The Ambassador welcomed the delegation to Azerbaijan. He briefly explained on the opening and establishment of the embassy. The Ambassador also shared his experience on living in Baku, as well as, recommending few Asian restaurants should the delegation crave for Asian food.


The Ambassador also congratulated the Red Circle Projects Sdn Bhd for being able to secure projects here in Baku. This effort has shown to Azerbaijan that Malaysia has the expertise and is willing to assist other countries and share its knowledge.


The courtesy call lasted for 30 minutes, in a cordial manner and ended up with a signing of the embassy’s visitor book and a photo session.
