COURTESY CALL BY THE REPRESENTATIVES OF EDUCATION MALAYSIA, LIMKOKWING UNIVERSITY OF CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY AND INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA-WALES

On 10 April 2017, H.E. Dato’ Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Azerbaijan received a courtesy call by Mr Veejayaasegaran, Senior Manager of International Marketing and Development Department of Education Malaysia Global Services. He was accompanied by Mr Anthony Michael, Manager of International Marketing Department of the International University of Malaya-Wales, and the representatives of the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology led by Ms Wendy Wong, the Enrolment Director. Present with the Ambassador were Mr Harris Alwi, Counsellor and Ms Movlana Mammadzada, Translator and Social Secretary of the Embassy.

 

The representatives of the universities participated at the A2 International Education Fair in Baku, held from 08-09 April 2017 at Hilton Hotel, Baku. They reported that Azerbaijani students showed a very high interest in the Malaysian Universities and education in Malaysia.

 

Both universities also discussed on the scholarship offers to the Azerbaijani students. Further details will be given to the Embassy for dissemination.

 

The Ambassador explained further on current needs of education in Azerbaijan and suggested for Malaysian universities to establish cooperation with potential Universities here.

 

The two sides discussed further on the ways of mutual cooperation and agreed to expand the relations.
