The Embassy of Malaysia in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) held a golf tournament in Sarajevo on 4 September 2016 in conjunction with Malaysia National Day.

 

About 32 golfers comprising mainly members of the Golf Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the event which tee-off at 9.30 am. H.E. Ambassador Datuk Anuar Kasman and representatives from the Malaysian Embassy, MPOC, as well as Malaysian palm oil industry also took part in the tournament.

 

The golfers were later treated with Malaysian Cultural Show during lunch and prize giving ceremony. The prizes included three doubles for the closest shot and longest drive on hole four. Mr. Ognjen Baros was declared the overall champion. Ambassador Datuk Anuar also emerged as one of the three winners.  Also present at the event were staff of the Embassy of Malaysia and their family members.
