DINNER WITH EX-MTCP PARTICIPANTS, 2 DECEMBER 2009
Ambassador Sudha Devi hosted a dinner for Brazilian ex-MTCP participants at the Porcao Restaurant on 2 December 2009. A total of 29 guests attended the dinner. Besides the ex-MTCP participants, other guests included officials from the Department of Training and Education of the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil, Brazilian Central Bank, Brazilian Space Agency and University of Brasilia.
The occasion also served as an introductory dinner by the new Malaysian Ambassador and was an excellent opportunity to get to know the ex-MTCP participants as well as the officials from various related departments. In her short speech at the dinner, Ambassador commented on the close and good relations enjoyed between Malaysia and Brazil and expressed hope for greater participation by Brazilians in the various courses offered by MTCP in the future. Ambassador also took the opportunity to inform that the MTCP will be managed by Wisma Putra beginning 1 January 2010 and welcomed proposals to enhance Brazilian participation in the MTCP programme. The Embassy also distributed information kits on Malaysia and MTCP to the guests.
A Embaixadora Sudha Devi ofereceu um jantar aos ex-participantes brasileiros do MTCP, no Restaurante Porcão, em 2 de dezembro de 2009. Um total de 29 convidados compareceu ao jantar. Além dos ex-participantes to MTCP, estiveram no jantar funcionários do Departamento de Treinamento e Educação do Ministério das Relações Exteriores, Banco Central, Agência Espacial brasileira e Universidade de Brasília.
O evento também serviu como apresentação da nova Embaixadora da Malásia e foi uma excelente oportunidade para que ex-participantes to MTCP e funcionários de vários departamentos de governo se conhecessem. Em seu breve discurso durante o jantar, a Embaixadora salientou as boas e íntimas relações entre a Malásia e o Brasil e expressou a esperança de uma maior participação brasileira nos inúmeros cursos a serem ofertados no futuro pelo MTCP. A Embaixadora aproveitou a oportunidade para informar que o MTCP será gerenciado por Wisma Putra a partir de 1º de janeiro de 2010 e que acolheu com alegria as propostas para intensificar a participação brasileira na programação do MTCP. A Embaixada também distribuiu aos convidados kits de informação sobre a Malásia e o MTCP.
