On 6 April 2026, His Excellency Dato’ Mohammad Ali bin Selamat, Ambassador of Malaysia to Brazil, participated in the Mercosur–ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (MACC)–Malaysia webinar, organised by the MACC Brazil and Rödl South America.
The event brought together representatives from various countries and institutions to discuss trade and investment opportunities between the two regions, highlighting Malaysia’s role as a gateway to the ASEAN market, as well as initiatives to promote trade and economic cooperation.
Malaysia’s participation reaffirms its commitment to strengthening dialogue between MERCOSUR and ASEAN, fostering strategic partnerships, trade exchange, and closer market integration.
